What do you feed 100% grass fed grass finished beef in the winter months?

That is a great question!

Our 100% grass fed grass finished beef does still graze during winter months but our farmers also fed them hay, cut from their own pastures and stored for winter feeding.  As all pastures regenerate naturally, with no chemicals, insecticides or artificial fertilizers used, the cattle are consuming a dried version of the same pasture they graze on - so still all natural.

Our farmers use rotational grazing - this means that, as a pasture is depleted, the cattle are moved to another pasture where they can find fresh greens for grazing.  Some pastures are left longer than others, so that hay can be cut from them.
