Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions

Please carefully read the following Terms & Conditions before participating in the ButcherBox Canada Affiliate Program. If you have any questions, please contact us.

1. Modifications
   ButcherBox Canada reserves the right to modify any of the terms and conditions in this Agreement at any time and at its sole discretion. These modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in commission rates, payment procedures, eligibility requirements, promotional rules, and affiliate program policies. Continued participation in the program following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Enrollment
   To enroll in the affiliate program, applicants must complete the registration process and agree to these Terms & Conditions. ButcherBox Canada reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.
3. Affiliate Links and Promotional Materials
   Approved affiliates will receive unique referral links, banners, and/or coupon codes to promote ButcherBox Canada. Affiliates may only use official promotional materials provided or approved by ButcherBox Canada. Promotional materials may not be altered without prior written consent.
4. Commission Structure
   Affiliates earn commission on qualifying first-time purchases made by new customers who use their unique referral link or coupon code. Commissions are only paid on qualifying orders with a total value between $199 and $799. Orders outside this range are not eligible for affiliate commission. Commissions are only paid on successfully completed transactions and may be withheld or reversed for cancelled, refunded, fraudulent, or disputed orders.
5. Self-Referral Prohibited
   Affiliates are strictly prohibited from using their own affiliate link or coupon code to place orders for themselves, their household members, employees, or for delivery to any address under their control. Self-referrals will result in the associated commission being voided and may result in removal from the affiliate program.
6. Coupon and Deal Website Restrictions
   Affiliate links or coupon codes may not be published, distributed, or promoted on coupon, deal, or discount aggregation websites without prior written approval from ButcherBox Canada. Prohibited websites include, but are not limited to, RetailMeNot, Honey, Rakuten, Slickdeals, Groupon, CouponBirds, Dealspotr, CouponFollow, and any other coupon, browser extension, or deal aggregation platform. Unauthorized distribution of affiliate codes on such platforms may result in commission reversal and termination from the affiliate program.
7. Browser Extensions and Code Injection
   Affiliates may not promote ButcherBox Canada through browser extensions, toolbars, pop-ups, auto-applied coupon tools, or any technology that automatically inserts or replaces affiliate tracking codes without a user's intentional action. This includes coupon-finding extensions or similar tools.
8. Paid Advertising and Brand Bidding
   Affiliates may not bid on ButcherBox Canada trademarks, brand names, domain names, or misspellings of these terms in paid advertising platforms including Google Ads, Bing Ads, or social media advertising. Affiliates may not create advertisements that appear to represent or impersonate ButcherBox Canada.
9. Domain Names and Social Media Accounts
   Affiliates may not register domain names, social media accounts, or usernames that contain or closely resemble the ButcherBox Canada brand name or trademarks in a manner that could cause confusion or imply official affiliation.
10. Prohibited Promotional Methods
    Affiliates may not promote ButcherBox Canada using spam email or unsolicited electronic messages, misleading or deceptive advertising, false claims regarding products, pricing, or promotions, fake or unauthorized discount offers, malware, spyware, forced redirects, cookie stuffing, impersonation of ButcherBox Canada or its employees, or any illegal or unethical marketing practices.
11. Compliance with Canadian Advertising Laws
    Affiliates must comply with all applicable Canadian laws and regulations relating to advertising and marketing, including the Competition Act (Canada) and guidance issued by the Competition Bureau of Canada. Affiliates must clearly disclose when a promotion includes an affiliate link, referral code, or any form of compensation. Disclosures must be clear, visible, and understandable to consumers at the time the promotion is presented.
12. Compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
    Affiliates must comply with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) when sending any commercial electronic messages promoting ButcherBox Canada. This includes obtaining proper consent from recipients and including identification and unsubscribe mechanisms where required by law.
13. Order Validation and Commission Approval
    All affiliate commissions are subject to review and verification by ButcherBox Canada. The company reserves the right to delay or deny commission payments for transactions suspected of fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
14. Commission Reversal
    ButcherBox Canada reserves the right to reverse or withhold commissions for the following reasons: order cancellations or refunds, fraudulent transactions, violation of affiliate program terms, unauthorized coupon distribution, and self-referrals or abuse of referral links.
15. Program Suspension or Termination
    ButcherBox Canada reserves the right to suspend or terminate any affiliate account at any time if these Terms & Conditions are violated or if suspicious or fraudulent activity is detected.
16. Termination of Agreement
    Either https://butcherbox.ca/ or the affiliate may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, affiliates must immediately remove all affiliate links, promotional materials, and references to https://butcherbox.ca/ from their websites, social media accounts, and marketing materials, including all trademarks and logos.
