If you like all the flavour of Italian sausage, but prefer a sweeter touch, you will love our gluten free mild Italian sausage! These milder sausages are great for kids, since they sometimes don’t care so much for the heat of the spicier foods – and if you are making chili or pasta for a large crowd, our mild sausages will give added flavour, without the spice.
All of our pork products start with premium Ontario pork, naturally raised, fed a vegetarian diet and given free access to be outdoors or indoors – a low stress approach to farming, resulting in healthier animals. And, our sausages are prepared fresh in our HACCP certified butcher shop, completely separate from other raw meat products, so you can rest assured there is no chance of cross contamination and that the highest standards in cleanliness, food safety and quality are being observed.
Cooking tip – as with the hot sausage, these can be lightly parboiled, then crisped up on the grill or in a frying pan on the stove top.
