Maple Bacon Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp ButcherBox.ca grass fed unsalted butter
- 1 package ButcherBox.ca butcher bacon, cooked crisply and chopped
- 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 - 1 tsp real maple syrup
- 1 cup dry roasted peanuts, coarsely chopped (optional)
Method
- Coat an 8-inch square pan with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, drain on paper towel and chop into small pieces.
- In a saucepan over medium low heat, combine remaining ingredients. Stirring continuously, heat until chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and butter are all melted, and mixture has thickened and has a smooth consistency.
- Remove from heat, stir in about 2/3 of bacon pieces.
- Pour into your prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining bacon pieces and peanuts (if using) on top and lightly press into mixture with fingertips.
- Cover with aluminum foil and chill in refrigerator until firm, at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Cut into bite sized pieces.
