Ingredients

  • 2 ButcherBox.ca Chicken Breasts
  • 1 tbsp bacon or animal fat
  • 1 cup sugar-free marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
  • 4 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 tsp italian dried herbs

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C/400°F2
  2. Heat fat in an ovenproof skillet over medium high heat. Cook the chicken breasts 5 minutes on each side, until golden.
  3. Pour the marinara sauce over and around the chicken. Sprinkle the cheese over the chicken breasts, and then sprinkle with the herbs.
  4. Place in the oven and bake 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden and the chicken breasts are cooked through.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy
