Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • ½ cup blended cottage cheese (120g)
  • 3 tablespoon light mayo (27g)
  • 2 tablespoon pickle relish grated dill pickle (30g) or finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon sugar-free ketchup
  • ¾ teaspoon yellow mustard
  • ½ teaspoon monk fruit sweetener or any sweetener to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika

Method

  1. Blend the cottage cheese with an immersion blender or food processor until smooth and creamy.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the blended cottage cheese with the light mayo, chopped pickles, pickle juice, ketchup, mustard, sweetener, garlic powder, salt, and onion powder.
  3. Stir everything until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  4. Chill the sauce in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Use as a topping for burgers, wraps, or a dip for veggies or fries. Makes 4 servings
