  • 6 ButcherBox.ca Angus Beef Hot Dogs
  • 6 pretzel buns
  • 6 Strips ButcherBox.ca Bacon
  • 1 Cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 Cup mixed greens (arugula, spinach, and watercress)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • To taste Salt and pepper
  • Optional Garnish fresh herbs (basil or parsley)

Method

  1. Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick-cut bacon until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat. Once cooled, chop the bacon into smaller pieces.
  2. Grill the Hot Dogs: On a grill or grill pan, cook the gourmet hot dogs according to package instructions, turning occasionally until heated through and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
