  • 4 ButcherBox.ca Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Gouda cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms, chopped (preferably cremini or button)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for coating)
  • for garnish Fresh parsley, chopped

Method

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped mushrooms, cooking until the mushrooms are tender (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add Herbs: Stir in dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Mix with Cheese: In a bowl, combine the mushroom mixture with shredded Gouda cheese. Mix well to combine.
