Ingredients
- ½ cup olive oil
- ½ cup lime juice
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Method
- Mix together the marinade ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Add the ButcherBox.ca chicken to a large freezer bag or airtight container. Pour the marinade on top. Seal tightly and swish the marinade around to coat the chicken. Place it in the fridge for 2-24 hours.
- When ready to cook. Remove the chicken from the marinade and pat it dry thoroughly with paper towel. Season the chicken lightly with salt and pepper on both sides. Let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking. Discard the leftover marinade.
