Method

  1. Preheat the griddle over medium high heat to 400 degrees F.
  2. Stir together the garlic salt and pepper and season both sides of the salmon filets with this seasoning mixture.
  3. Once the griddle has reached 400 degrees F, drizzle the avocado oil on the griddle.
  4. Place the salmon filets on the griddle. If your salmon has the skin on, place the skin side down directly on the griddle.
  5. Cook for 4-6 minutes. Then flip the salmon (skin side up if your have skin on) and cook for 4-6 more minutes until the salmon reaches an internal temperature for 145 degrees F. Make sure to only flip the salmon once.
  6. Remove the salmon from the griddle to a separate plate. Squeeze the lemon juice on top and then it’s ready to serve.
