Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • 4 ButcherBox.ca Chicken Breasts
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup grainy mustard
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375° and grease an 8×11 baking dish.
  2. Pat dry the chicken breasts and place them in the prepared dish. Season both sides of the chicken with the salt and pepper. Set it aside.
  3. Next, in a small bowl, measure out the remaining ingredients, honey, mustards, seasonings, lemon juice, and olive oil, and pour over the chicken. Flip the breasts around to coat them.
  4. Place the dish in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until you reach a minimum of 165° when using a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the breast.
  5. Baste the chicken with the sauce and juices a few times while it is baking. If the sauce starts to brown too quickly, you can tent the dish with foil while the chicken finishes cooking.
  6. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
