Ingredients
- 2 Butcherbox.ca AAA Grass Fed top sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup ButcherBox.ca beef bone broth
- 2 tablespoons Butcherbox.ca Grass fed butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- To Taste Salt and pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 Cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Method
- Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, and melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer the sauce for 4-5 minutes, or until it thickens.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the sauce to coat. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, just until warmed through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
