Wild Icelandic Cod
Considered the "filet mignon of the sea", our cod is wild caught in the North Atlantic by the Icelandic Cod Fishery. This fishery has been certified under the Icelandic Responsible Fisheries program since 2010. The Fishery is also Marine Stewardship Council certified and Ocean Wise recommended - fish with nothing to hide.
Our Cod is caught using a hook and line which greatly reduces the stress on the fish, allowing for a much firmer meat; the hook and line method also greatly reduces any chance of by-catch and overfishing
Cooking tipWith a pearly white flesh that is moderately firm and flaky when cooked, cod is great pan fried or baked!
